It is quite difficult to pin point or single out an individual as the hero out of so many associates. I have run out of space to list names of persons who have touched my mind and spirit. Although my mind is racing to search and finally pin point my hero, somewhere in my person I feel affiliated to my very young boss.
A young energetic entrepreneur, very much self made, left a well established service in Delhi to venture alone in Kolkata to set up his own enterprise.
Here, I must declare that I have retired from a regular academic service, and am at present employed by him. Oops! I have forgotten to introduce him. He is Sunil Linus Sonkar, a very young person of about my son’s age. What is so heroic about him? I see in him a young India. His way of starting a new set up alone is praise worthy. This employment of mine is absolutely new and out of track as per my qualification and experience but his careful guidance and patience has once again put the old horse on the race track. He has drawn out another part of me of which I was unaware of. He has recalled me out of my retirement and has encouraged me to play another innings after already playing for 34 years.
He is not only my hero but to all youths of his age.
